INTRODUCING YOU AUTOSTORE

Cembre is pleased to share with you the opening of the new AutoStore automated warehouse providing greater efficiency, scalability and reliability. Now, thanks to its new automated warehouse Cembre Ltd is capable of storing up to 15,000 storage bins and from go live we will have up to 17,500 individual pick locations!

This is a major investment, which Cembre has gladly made to provide a faster and more efficient delivery service to all customers.

THE ADVANTAGES OF AUTOSTORE

AutoStore is a unique cube storage system that provides the significant advantage of multiplying our storage capacity within the same footprint of a traditional warehouse by stacking storage bins vertically within a grid.

Another advantage of the new warehouse is the high throughput as the system continually assesses the fast-moving product lines and automatically moves these to the upper storage bins which reduces retrieval times.

Futuristic picking system

Picking accuracy is enhanced by a pick to light system and secondary weight scale check on picked items. The actual picking from AutoStore is carried out by autonomous robots which retrieve bins and deliver them to operator ports for packing and order fulfilment.

Built with the future in mind

Cembre AutoStore is scalable: once initial capacity is full the housing grid can be expanded to increase the number of bins and pick locations. This ensures the warehouse can adapt and meet customers' needs for many years as the business continues to grow.
